I’ve been a creative since I can remember

From watching Wizard of Oz daily as a toddler, to casting my friends as Power Rangers on the playground.

I used to bring my dad’s camcorder to daycare so we could build sets out of blankets and blocks and make movies.

Upon moving to New York in 2011, I quickly realized I was meant to work in television & film (RIP to my musical theater BFA). Inspired by Lena Dunham’s launch to fame with Girls, I set out to write/direct/act in my own web series. Which I did successfully. But having no education in how anything in the industry worked or how to get my pilot to Judd Apatow, I decided to pivot and take a steady job at Central Casting to get my foot in the industry and learn how things work.

At Central, I was lucky to move up the ranks quickly; I became the senior casting director on my favorite show Orange is the New Black, and stuck around for 5 years in order to keep working on Orange and learning as much as I could while in the production office for meetings and on set visits.

In 2018, I was lucky to switch careers into to the world of principal casting and work as an assistant to one of my casting icons Jen Euston. I had a crash course year working with her on several projects before starting work with Bess Fifer on the Apple series Severance.

With the transition to freelance principal casting, my mental health improved and I felt the creativity return . So In 2022 I decided to produce and direct my first short film Rabbit Hole, which I filmed in my hometown of Akron, Ohio.

After a very successful festival run with Rabbit Hole, I am taking a more active approach in directing pursuits.

I’m currently in the early stages of pre-production on my second short film, and taking meetings for my feature films, one of which I plan to direct in 2025.
