From watching The Wizard of Oz daily as a toddler, to casting my friends as Power Rangers on the playground.

I used to bring my dad’s camcorder to daycare so we could build sets out of blankets and blocks and make movies.

After moving to New York in 2011, I found my way into casting, spending five years at Central Casting before moving into principal casting. I worked with Emmy-award winning casting director Jen Euston for a crash course year before joining Bess Fifer on Apple TV+'s Severance, where I currently work as an Associate Casting Director on the highly anticipated third season.

In 2022, I filmed Rabbit Hole, which I produced and directed in my hometown of Akron, Ohio. The film went on to have a successful festival run, and my feature screenplay Meteor Anne, starring Rachel Dratch, was subsequently optioned with a production company Objectively Good Media. I'm currently in pre-production on Death & Stuff, a feature film set to shoot in Ohio in 2027.

I've been incredibly grateful to carve out a somewhat unconventional path in this industry—one that allows me to wear a lot of different hats and do all the things I love: casting, writing, directing, and producing.

That combination has given me a unique perspective as an independent creative and filmmaker. I approach projects with a casting director's understanding of character and performance, a writer's investment in story, a director's eye for how it all comes together, and a producer's understanding of what it actually takes to get something made. My years in casting have also given me relationships with actors, agents, managers, and other industry professionals that I’m able to bring into the independent film world.

More than anything, I love finding great stories, championing great actors, and working with talented people to figure out how to make something great.
